The Star Wars The Complete Saga Blu-ray collects all six films of the original Skywalker saga, Episodes I to VI, in one 9-disc box set from Lucasfilm and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. This is the original release that reached North American stores on September 16, 2011.
You are buying a brand-new copy. All six films are presented in 1080p high definition with an English DTS-HD Master Audio 6.1 soundtrack.

George Lucas wrote and directed the three prequels: The Phantom Menace (1999), Attack of the Clones (2002) and Revenge of the Sith (2005). Together they follow Anakin Skywalker from a boy on Tatooine to his fall as Darth Vader.
The original trilogy began with Star Wars (1977), later titled A New Hope, which Lucas also directed and which won six Academy Awards. Irvin Kershner directed The Empire Strikes Back (1980), and Richard Marquand directed Return of the Jedi (1983).
The discs carry the special edition versions, with further changes made for this release, such as a CGI Yoda in Episode I and Vader's added "Nooo!" in Episode VI. Runtimes therefore differ slightly from the original theatrical cuts.
Lucasfilm promoted more than 40 hours of extras across the set. Every film has audio commentaries, including archival interview commentaries.
The Star Wars The Complete Saga Blu-ray sold about 1 million units worldwide in its first week, and Lucasfilm and Fox announced it as the bestselling catalog Blu-ray of all time.
